INTRODUCTION

Data Privacy Management Assessment (DPMA) questionnaire is to assess the current level of CyberSecurity Malaysia governance, readiness, and compliance in context of data privacy management. All questionnaire are related specific to ISO/IEC 27701 Privacy Information Management System of PIMS and are not for general security or other areas.

 

OVERVIEW ON DPMA

The DPMA questionnaires were developed based on Privacy  Management Assessment Framework (PMAF). The PMAF provides a practical perspective about how privacy management is to be  viewed as a holistic process that enables the organization to focus on the bases or foundations, building up to higher bases and the respective main elements. The PMAF consists of seven domains as follows:

1. Leadership and Management Commitment (LMC)

2. Privacy Governance & Compliance (PGC)

3. Privacy Risk Management (PRM)

4. Privacy Controls (PC)

5. Competencies and Awareness (CA)

6. Performance Evaluation (PE)

7. Continual Improvement (CI)
